One of the newer mens underwear brands trying to get a piece of our underwear buying pie, the Pump underwear collection is quickly making a name for itself with it’s bright, colourful and fun looking designs. Sticking primarily to the boxer brief / trunk look, the new 2011 A/W collection definitely sticks to this successful formula, but I have to admit I can’t quite decide whether it’s working for me or not.

The Jack of Pumps Boxer, for example, definitely made me smile the first time I looked at it, but to be honest the more times I check it out I’m not sure it doesn’t end up being all a bit novelty “only going to wear it once” piece… something that could also be said for the College Boy boxer though to be honest that does have something more of the Andrew Christian so I’m kinda willing to let it off a tad.

Meeting somewhere in the middle we have the  Black Midnight Flash boxer and the White Fresh Boxer. Featuring the paint splatter look that we’ve also seen from brands such as Diesel, I have to say after commenting that the others are over the top that these seem a little bit “been there done it before”…. but maybe I’m getting it all wrong and this is going to be a big selling range. What do you think?
