It may surprise you but James Winston Co wasnt set up by James Winston, it was actually set up by Brian James. Another thing that may surprise you is that Brian wasn’t in fashion before James Winston Co. He was actually in IT hardware.

So what caused this change of career. Well it was the lack of affordable well designed mens underwear.

It was therefore perhaps a good thing that Brian James didn’t know the ins and outs of underwear construction. If he did he may never have accepted this self imposed challenge.

The great thing is that he did and this has lead to one of the most stylish ranges of mens underwear available - the only thing is it seems a shame that it’s hidden away!
